Too large for other cutting machine

I've bought a few of the smaller Accuquilt sized dies for my Big Shot which works fine. However, I got this one thinking I could use it with my Big shot and it doesn't, it's too wide to feed through. Just a little FYI for anyone out there wanting to know if Accuquilt is compatible with the Big Shot. I'm very disappointed in myself for not checking out the size first.

poor design

Not really fair to ding this so harshly. I knew what I was buying.

I love the accuquilt and the only die I have't enjoyed was the rag quilt. This works fine. THe problem is that I tend to need a bunch of one size, not three sizes. When you are trying to use this for one size only, it gets more complex. Doable, but annoying.

It was the only way to buy a hex die for the accuquilt though. I finally broke down and bought another die machine from another company and got their hex dies for cutting my fabric. I like accquilt better, but so be it.

Hexagon Quilting

If you are planning on doing any hexagon quilting you HAVE TO HAVE THIS! The die cuts fabric into three sizes. I find that the spacing between the hexagons on the die is a little tight - so you have to pre-cut your fabric. But, otherwise it works really well!
