Excellent Product

I first learned of this product in my quilters' guild. It is terrific to stop the bleeding when washing new fabric. I also use it when I first wash a purchased article of clothing.

The product seems to have worked. The fabric when washed in hot water before sewing did not fade. You cannot tell the fabric has been washed.

I was disappointed, however, in the way the product was bottled. It was sent by priority mail, but evidently the lids are made of cheap plastic and were put on too tight. The lids on both bottles were cracked and the bottles were not sealed.Some of the solution had leaked out, but I did receive enough for what I needed at the time.

Retayne Color Fixative Solution - This product is one of the few that fixes color in fabric prior to it being used in quilts / textile projects. The item arrived promptly and extremely well packaged. I already knew that this was the product I needed and it is hard to find it in the shops without driving miles and miles. I had already researched what it did and how to use it. This was just as well as it did not come with any instructions for use. I have already used it to prepare a lot of fabric with unstable color and would definitely recommend this item and seller.
